Gryphon II recovery system
Gryphon II was LURA’s second flagship rocket, designed to break the UK’s amateur rocketry altitude record by reaching an apogee of 13 km, while advancing the team’s capabilities for even more complex projects. I was brought into the project one year after its initiation to take over the development of the recovery system. Over the course of six months, I progressed the system from initial concept through a rigorous testing program to successful flight tests.
